Near perfect Off White/White pages. New CGC holder and protective plastic sleeve. The classic death of Gwen Stacy at the hands of the Green Goblin. I remember seeing this comic advertised in the UK fan press at the time (Comic Media News in particular) and the frenzy at the Camden London comic mart in March to get a copy as we knew it wouldn't be available in the newsagents in June.
Advance imports were up to 35p at the time. An early example of comics' speculation! Interestingly at the time it was unclear as to whether The Green Goblin had previously killed Gwen Stacy (it's what I thought at the time in common with anyone else I talked to as an excited 13 year old).
It was explained in the letters page in issue #125 that Gwen was unconscious and that it was the whiplash that broke her neck. Gerry Conway was only 21 when he wrote this storyline.Credit to Stan Lee for recognising precocious talent. Lower priced items sent 2. All comics are bagged or bagged & boarded unless otherwise stated; higher value comics are also in Mylar sleeves. Comics are packaged in specialist cardboard mailers.
